For this reason, you have done some web research to know the detailed procedure to get the covers of your albums, ending up straight on this guide of mine.

In the next paragraphs, in fact, I will explain to you how to download itunes album art providing you with all the information necessary to succeed in your intent. In addition to showing you the step-by-step process for automatically getting album art from the iTunes Store, I’ll also tell you how to manually add cover art by uploading it from your computer. The procedure for download itunes album art it’s quick and easy. All you need to do is select the album you are interested in and choose the automatic cover download function. By doing so, the latter will be automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store and added to all the songs contained in the album in question.
How to download itunes album art On Windows
To download album art that you’ve added to your iTunes library on Windowsfirst launch the famous multimedia software from Apple and make sure you are signed in with your Apple ID.
If iTunes is not yet installed on your computer, you should know that it is available for free in the form of an application for Windows 10 on the Microsoft Store. If, on the other hand, you use an older version of Windows, you can download it from the official Apple site. In this regard, my guide on how to download iTunes may be useful.
After launching iTunes, select the option Accounts in the top bar, choose the voice Log in from the menu that opens, enter your Apple ID data in the fields Apple ID And Password and click on the button Log into log in.
This procedure is necessary in order to automatically obtain your music album art from the iTunes Store. Therefore, if you don’t have an Apple ID yet, you can create one by clicking on the button Create new Apple ID (if so, you can check out my guide on how to create Apple IDs) or choose to manually add cover art to iTunes albums.
At this point, make sure you’ve selected the option Music through the drop-down menu located at the top left and choose the item Bookshelf. Then click on the option Album visible in the sidebar on the left and locate the album of your interest.
If it has no cover (an icon is displayed music note over gray background), right-click the album in question and choose the option Get scrapbook illustrations from the menu that opens, then press the button Get scrapbook illustrationsto confirm your intention, and wait for the download of the cover in question to complete.
If everything went right, the cover you just downloaded will automatically be added to the selected album and to all the songs contained in it. If, on the other hand, you continue to see the icon of the music note over gray background, it means that the cover in question is not available in the iTunes Store (in which case you can add a cover manually) or that the data of the selected album is incorrect and, consequently, no match was found. How to download itunes album art On Mac
If you want to download album art to iTunes on Mac with macOS 10.14 Mojave or previous versions, you must know that the program in question is installed as standard and the procedure is almost identical to what I have already indicated to you in the previous paragraphs when talking about Windows.
All you have to do, then, is launch iTunes, choose the option Music using the drop-down menu located at the top left and make sure you have selected the option Bookshelf. Once this is done, press on the item Albumright click on the album whose cover you want to download and choose the option Get scrapbook illustrations consecutively, to automatically download the album art from the iTunes Store.
If, on the other hand, you use macOS 10.15 Catalina or later, you need to know that iTunes has been separated into applications Music, Podcasts And TV. To download an album cover, then, launch the application Musiclocate the section Bookshelf visible in the sidebar on the left and click on the item Album.
Now, hover with the mouse pointer on the album of your interest, press the relative icon three dots and choose the option Get scrapbook illustrations. Then click on the button Get scrapbook illustrationsto confirm your intention, and the cover in question will automatically be downloaded from the iTunes Store and added to all songs contained in the selected album.
Again, if you still see the album without the cover, it means that no match was found between the album in question and those available in the iTunes Store. If so, you can download the cover yourself from the Internet and manually add it to the album.
How to manually add album art to iTunes
If you don’t have an internet connection available or the automatic cover download hasn’t given any results, you can manually add cover art to albums in iTunes. How to do? I’ll tell you right now!
If your intention is to manually download the cover of your albums on iTunes, start the program in question, select the option Music through the drop-down menu located at the top left and choose the options Bookshelf (top) e Album (to the left).
Now, click with the right mouse button on the album of your interest, select the item Album information from the menu that opens and click on the button Edit itemsto confirm that you want to change the information of all the songs contained in the selected album.
In the new screen that appears, choose the tab Illustrationclick the button Add illustration and select the image to use as the cover (several formats are allowed, including JPG, PNGs, GIFs And TIFF). Then press the buttons You open And Okay, to save the changes and add the selected cover to the album of your interest. Alternatively, you can also drag the image into the appropriate box or copy and paste using combinations Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V.

If you have chosen to add your album art manually and you have a Mac with macOS 10.14 Mojave or earlier, launch iTunes, access the section Music and select options Bookshelf And Album.
Once this is done, right click on the album of your interest, select the option Album information from the menu that opens and click on the button Edit itemsthen select the item Illustrationpress the button Add illustration and choose the image of your interest. Then click on the button Okay, to add the chosen cover, and that’s it. Alternatively, you can also drag the image into the appropriate box or copy and paste using combinations cmd+c/cmd+v.
If, on the other hand, you use macOS 10.15 Catalina or later, launch the application Musicselect the item Album visible in the sidebar on the left and click on the icon of three dots for the album you want to add cover art to. Then choose the option Information from the menu that opens, click on the button Edit items and select the tab Illustration.
Finally, press the button Add illustrationat the bottom left, select the image to use as the cover, click on the button You open and press on the item Okayto apply the changes and add the chosen cover to your album.
