Are you a music lover and would you like to create an online radio with which to make your friends listen to the songs you like the most. If you don’t want to go crazy, you can use the free service Anywhere.FM to create your own radio online.
Anywhere.FM provides you with one unlimited spacewhere you can upload songs from your computer, and provides you with a website address to distribute to your friends, through which they can listen to the songs you uploaded at any time.
Register on Anywhere.FM
Connect to the Anywhere.FM home page and click on the button Enjoy! in the window Welcome to Anywhere.FM which opens. To register for the service, click on the yellow button Sign Up! top right.
In the window that opens, enter your username and password respectively in login And passwordcheck the entry I accept the terms of use and click the button Create.
To finish registering for the service, in the window My Profile that opens, simply click the button Save. Here you are finally in front of your workstation.
Upload and organize music into playlists
To upload your songs to your (unlimited) Anywhere.FM space, click the button on the bottom right Uploads. In the window that opens, select the music tracks to upload and click on the button You open to start their upload.
Once the upload is complete, click on the entry My Music at the top left to get the list of songs uploaded to your Anywhere.FM space. Anywhere.FM allows you to organize songs into playlistsi.e. in groups of songs, such as for example Songs of Carmen Consoli or Rock songs.
To create a playlist, right click on the item My Music at the top left and, in the menu that opens, select the item New Playlists. At this point write the name you want to give to the playlist and press the button Enter on the keyboard.
To populate a playlist of music tracks, click on the entry My Music at the top left and drag the music tracks you wish to add to the playlist onto the name of the playlist itself. Easy and fast.
Let your friends listen to the radio online
And now comes the fun part. After loading our songs and divided into playlists, we can make our friends listen to our radio. We have to connect our friends to the address of our space on Anywhere.FM: it’s what you find after the entry Share @
Our friends, to listen to our music, must pay attention to the section Radio. They can listen to all the songs we have uploaded (Entire Library) or the songs in the playlists created either automatically by Anywhere.FM or by us manually, by double-clicking on the respective items. Happy listening.
